DLSU Holds iamninoy Advocacy Week

De La Salle University actively takes part in the year-long celebration of the life and legacy of former Senator Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. by mounting the iamninoy Advocacy Week. The DLSU Student Council, the Theology and Religious Education Department, and the Lasallian Pastoral Office have lined-up various activities from November 24 - 27, 2008 such as an essay writing contest, selling of "I am Ninoy" merchandise in the campus, and a symposium featuring Filipino heroism.

The symposium is scheduled on Thursday, November 27, 2008, the 76th birth anniversary of Ninoy Aquino, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at the Marilen Gaerlan Conservatory (North Wing) of De La Salle University, Taft Avenue, Manila. Youth leaders involved in various advocacies will share their ideas on leadership and heroism. Guest of honor of the event, Former President Corazon C. Aquino, will grace this occasion by delivering an inspirational message to the youth.
