MyPhilippines joins iamninoy Campaign
MyPhilippines has become the latest retail partner
of the iamninoy campaign. It shares the same passion towards creating
a better Philippines by awakening the youth to know
and live up to the ideals that Ninoy sacrificed his
life for.
Brian Dy, the company president, showed enthusiasm over
the campaign and the advocacy it promotes. He expressed
faith in the Filipino people especially the youth to
affect positive change badly needed by the country.
He sees the campaign as a seed to be planted in the
hearts and minds of fellow citizens to remind them that
not so long ago, there was a man who stood up to defend
the freedom and dignity of all Filipinos.
When asked about the inspiration of the iamninoy shirt design that MyPhilippines has scheduled for immediate
release, Brian shares that the theme will be Ninoy as
a unifying force that moved a nation into action. The
shirt also shows some reference to the EDSA people power
revolution, celebrated all over the world as the first
bloodless revolution in history.
Soon MyPhilippines fans will be seeing additional iamninoy merchandise such as t-shirts, caps, bags, and jackets
in major SM KULTURA outlets. With each item produced,
the company will be donating a percentage of sales to
ABS CBN Sagip Kapamilya. Sagip Kapamilya engages in
relief and disaster response assistance as well as management
and development services for communities hit by calamities
all over the country.
MyPhilippines is a trademark of My Philippines Lifestyle
Inc. The brand has recently been launched as "Our
Country's National Shirt" and has enlisted boxer
extraordinaire Manny Pacquiao's wife, Jinkee Pacquiao,
and his kids to be the brand's official endorser.
